Food and Drinks Training

In order to help those affected by Covid-19, Boonrawd Brewery Company Limited launched a number of short-term and long-term projects through Singha R-SA. The short-term projects consisted of three accelerated local volunteer employment projects, which helped over 3,000 households. Now it is time Singha R-SA vocational training projects. The first one launched was “3-Course Professional Food and Drinks Training”, designed by four well-recognized chefs, including “Chef Chumpon” Chaengprai, “Chef Pom” Thanarak Chuto, “Chef Book” Boonsmith Pukkanasut and “Chef Big” Saromwet Teerapot, to ensure the participants are provided with the best tip and tricks.

10 Most Loved

and Delicious Dishes

In the first week of June, Singha R-SA started the project with the first workshop, “10 Most Loved and Delicious Dishes”. The famous “Chef Book” Boonsmith Pukkanasut, worked closely with the participants to share his tips and tricks throughout the session. The 10 dishes included in the workshop were all delicious and easy ones: Todd sauce fried chicken, Pad Thai, beef sukiyaki, railway fried rice, stir fried basil with creamy omelette, chicken stew with rice, spicy chicken salad with rice, New Zealand-style fried oysters, fried patties, and spicy stir-fried spaghetti. Singha R-SA guarantees that our workshop will help every newbie to cook these dishes like a chef.

Hot and Iced

Drinks

The second workshop in the program, “Hot and Iced Drinks”, focused on bakery and drinks. Be it Italian soda or tea. Affiliated companies like Singha Soda, Singha Park Chiangrai barista team, Farm Design R&D team, and instructors from Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep and Mae Fah Luang University worked together to share tasty budget recipes for amateurs interested in opening their own shops.

The third workshop began at the beginning of July. Singha R-SA collaborated with three well-recognized chefs, Chef Chumpon Chaengprai from R.HAAN and a 2-Michelin star winner, Chinese cuisine Iron Chef Pom – Thanarak Chuto, and Chef Big – Saromwet Teerapot from EST, to share fusion Thai recipes and tricks on Thai cooking, to ensure the customers will be impressed. In addition, the workshop included a lecture on value-adding and delivery channels, which are extremely important in this age.

Our Motivation

The objective of Singha R-SA’s vocational training project is to provide people who lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 outbreak with opportunities and practical skills, so they are able to take care of their families throughout the crisis. The outcome of “3-Course Professional Food and Drinks Training” has inspired us to keep working on the next projects because we got to see everybody’s smiles and appreciation. And this is just a start. After the end of the project in July, we will continue with technical and agricultural trainings with the help of Singha companies’ expertise.
