Tropical Storm“Pabuk”

Between January 2nd and 3rd 2019, Tropical Storm “Pabuk” reached the Gulf of Thailand and affected southern Thailand on January 3rd to 5th 2019. The Thai Meteorological Department forecasted that Pabuk may cause a similar amount of damage as Tropical Storm Harriet which reached Talumpuke Foreland in 1962. Luckily, the strength of Pabuk decreased to be classed as a depression before it reached Thailand, although some local homes suffered damaged.

After the storm passed on January 5th to 6th 2019, Singha R-SA gathered our volunteers and went to the damaged districts of Pak Phanang, Hua Sai, and Mueang in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. We provided assistance in the form of water and rice, and we were successful despite having to wade through the floodwater while carrying many heavy things.

Bringing SmilesBack

Singha R-SA saw the suffering of those affected by Pabuk and we understood how they felt, so we encouraged them and wished that their smiles would be back soon.

The Great Partner

We must give thanks to the Distributor of Singorachat Part., Ltd. and the scholar network from Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University who cooperated with us. This mission was not easy, but no one gave up and we have great respect for all those involved.

Singha R-SA is ready to help people suffering throughout Thailand.
