Even though flooding in many areas subsided, some areas in Sukhothai Province continued to suffer from rising floodwaters because of rising water from Yom River and Phrae Province. This flooding was the effect of Podul and Kajiki windstorms since late August.

Singha R-SA traveled to Ladsaimun village, Capital District of Sukhothai Province on 6 September and gave the residents necessary items, such as drinking water and rice. This time, we collaborated with volunteers from 20 universities including Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University, Naresuan University, Lampang Rajabhat University, Uttaradit Rajabhat University, Nakhonsawan Rajabhat University, Lanna Rajamangala University of Technology (Tak Campus), Thonburi Rajabhat University, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University, Mahidol University, Hua Chiew Chalermprakiet University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Suan Dusit University, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Srinakharinwirot University, Dhurakij Pundit University, Bangkok University, Kasetsart University, and King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.

After the mission, Singha R-SA kept a close watch on the situation, to give further assistance as soon possible. We supported and encouraged the victims of the flooding, and promised them the problem would soon be resolved.
