Toward the end of July, northeastern Thailand was hit by Sonca Tropical Storm. The storm had gradually subsided and become a low-pressure area. This caused flash flooding in many provinces in northeastern Thailand. Water levels were high and the roads were submerged and became impassable.

On 28-31 July, SINGHA R-SA volunteers had spread to the flooded areas of Lopburi, Khon Kaen, Phichit, Sakon Nakhon, Sukhothai, and Roi Et provinces. We handed out Singha drinking water and bags of Pandee rice to the flood victims.

This mission would not be completed without the help of volunteer groups below:

– KhonKaen Brewery Co., Ltd.

– Singhasakol (2009) Co., Ltd.

– Ch3 Thailand

– SINGHA R-SA Student Network of Suranaree University of Technology

– SINGHA R-SA Student Network of Naresuan University

– SINGHA R-SA Student Network of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University

– SINGHA R-SA Student Network of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan Sakonnakhon Campus

– SINGHA R-SA Student Network of Roi Et Rajabhat University

Although this flood was strong, SINGHA R-SA had never given up. There were many flood victims still needed our help. We brought not only a relief aid, but also “courage” for the victims to overcome difficulty. SINGHA R-SA always believes that every cloud has a silver lining and we will always be there with those who need our support in the hard times.
